The casino card games such as blackjack and baccarat differ drastically from casino games like slot machines, roulette, and craps. The first ones are not independent processes because the already played cards have affect on the odds of the following hands. For instance, if we compare blackjack with craps we’ll found out that in the latter case we don’t need to keep record of previous decisions because the dice don’t have memory. If the cards are not shuffled after every hand it might be beneficial if we track the already played cards and their relationship to the expectations of the player.
